The Frankfurt - Vienna connection.

To clear up a small matter of confusion. People in Frankfurt eat Frankfurt sausages and people in Vienna eat them too, also calling them Frankfurters.
Once  upon a time, however, people from somewhere or the other went to Vienna (Wien) , ate Frankfruters there, then went home and told everyone about the great Wiener sausages they had eaten.       So all Wiener sausages are actually Frankfurter sausages.           And Frankfurters have another thing in common in both cities: in both Frankfurt and Vienna, true Frankfurters only come from Paris.     The refined way eating them is with potato salad and horse radish, less refined is with masterd- while they have lost all relation to the original when eaten with roll, or stuffed in a roll with mustard or without it.

ま、どっちでもいいんだけど、ドイツで食べるソーセイジサンド（ホットドッグとは言わない）はうまい。　　　　アメリカではまずホットドッグにはマスタード　サワークラフト、オニオン　ついでにケチャップいっぱい だけど、　フランクフルトではソーセージを固いパンにはさむだけ、　マスタードだけはお好みで。　　　　つまり何もないほうが旨いからで　この、はみでたソーセイジと少しのパンは一つや二つ飲み物なしでも唾液で食える。　　　ソーセイジの中に、歴史と文化がつまっている様にも思える。　　　　じゃあアメリカのホットドッグやマックのバーガーはまずいか、　いやあれもまた旨い、食べたい時は定期的に来る、それが証拠にマックの看板は世界中どこにもありどこでも人が入っている、　資本主義とは恐ろしい、人の味覚の片隅に張り付ける戦略は成功している。　　　スローフードやロハスとは言ってもさっと手早く済ませる必要時は皆あり、そういう時ほど旨いものを選びやすい。
